If it sounds like I'm creating a blog post that will continue on a weekly basis, you're right, I am! Well trying to at least, if we're honest, consistency and blogging haven't always gone hand and hand! I am a work in progress friends! Today I have chosen 5 blogging friends that have superior taste, design ascetics, and always give me inspiration.
Let's start with dear Collette at Spindle & Rye
In her blog post above, she gives tips to styling this large and beautiful, vintage tulip crate. She was honest and says it was slightly intimidating at first, but it looks like she did a fabulous job! Don't you agree? Head over to her blog to see more pictures and read all about how she styled this amazing piece. You can also read about her new home decor collection with Painted Fox.
Next is sweet Annie at Zevy Joy
She tells us all about how to create this beautiful faux antler. Yes, you read that right, she made that antler! I promise, if you've wanted to add one of these to your decor, you're going to want to head over to her page and see how to make one yourself!
Now let's talk about beautiful Lindsay from Whimsy Girl.
She writes awesome posts titled Break the Bank vs Cheapskate! I love that idea as I love a bargain! In her posts, she will share beautiful home decor items, usually furniture and lighting, and show us two sides. The ever amazing, but super expensive side, then the still beautiful but affordable option. Head on over there to find your next bargain!
Sarah from Thrifty Decor Chick has been on my blog reading list for quite some time now!
Among other projects, I have genuinely enjoyed watching her kitchen transformation. She has tackled some amazing DIY projects throughout like a new island, a window seat and extending her kitchen cabinets to the ceiling. My favorite part is she takes her time and that encourages me to remember it's not a race! It's ok to live with a project "in progress" so it can be completed right!
Last but certainly not least is talented Corey from Sawdust 2 Stitches
This cabinet is among many, many furniture transformations that this girl has undertaken! I have rescued a lot of side of the road pieces in my day, but Corey really knows how to turn trash into treasure. I promise you will want to head to her blog to see what this cabinet looked like before!
Well there it is, my first round up of blogging friends with lots of inspiration to share, so I hope you have time to show them each some love! Happy Friday friends!
